JEWISH LIVES IN AMERICA
Stories That Shaped a Nation: Jewish Lives in America, published by the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History, weaves Jewish voices, perspectives, and experiences into the study of United States history, adding new dimensions that complement and amplify the complexity of the struggles, hopes, aspiration, and ideals found within this pluralistic democratic society. The curriculum draws upon multicultural, culturally affirming, and social and emotional approaches, inviting students to grapple with questions of identity, diversity, community, otherness, and humanity. Project Mosaics is a proud Stories That Shaped a Nation partner and our Executive Director, Dan Osborn, serves as the curriculum developer for the project.
